It was wonderful for the girls to see Grandma Karen and Grandpa Don, and it was also nice for Shawn and I to get out late in the afternoon for an early movie and dinner out.
By the way everything you see in the photos that was knit (sweaters, hats, socks) were all made by Grandma Karen! :-)

Well I almost have the front done of the toddler/child sized sweater I'm making (SUPER easy pattern) and if I get the other side done I'll be proudly presenting my first real finished knitting project! :-0
We are very lucky to have Grandma knit so many things for us. Nessa insisted on wearing that sweater and socks two days in a row too. :-)
